At Sea Scouts real emphasis is placed on the importance of teamwork from the outset and the aim of the Troop is to develop Sea Scouts' lives physically, culturally and spiritually whilst having a lot of fun at the same time!

The Troop participate in a number of regional competitions such as night hikes and regattas. The most important events on our water sports calendar are the Blashford Sailing Regatta and the Testwood Canoeing Regatta.

Winter activities typically include a little drill, an outdoor wide game and an indoor game such as 'Spotlight'. This is supplemented with work towards the Scout Proficiency Badge scheme.

During the summer, the troop goes sailing and kayaking, working through the BCU Paddlepower training scheme. This season the group delivered over £2300 worth of training to its members at no additional cost.

Subscriptions cost £5.00 per week, payable in advance at the beginning of each term.
